The Slipper is a wholecut pattern based on a vintage travelling shoe. We've made it as unstructured as possible by removing both the toe box and heel counter. This creates a glove-like fit and and allows the Slipper to be fully collapsed for easy transportation. If you plan on wearing the Slipper with bare feet or thin socks we recommend purchasing a whole size down from your regular Viberg size.

Britain's C.F. Stead has been producing some of the finest suedes and wild animal leathers in the world for over a century. Their Janus Calf is, in our opinion, the highest quality suede leather available and durable enough to be worn in all conditions. With a full grain and aniline reverse, the resulting hide is firm while maintaining a luxurious and silky finish.
Suede should be regularly brushed or wiped with a clean cloth to remove surface dirt. Our Suede Brush and Eraser (coming soon) can also be used to restore nap and lift marks and stains.
For over 85 years we have been handcrafting some of the world’s best footwear. Third generation family owned and operated and proudly made in Canada.
This is a round toe, low profile last with minimal heel drop developed specifically for our wholecut Slipper. Fits a half size larger than our other lasts.View Last Guide
