Service Boot Shinki Horsebutt

This version of Shinki’s Horsebutt is processed and tanned very similarly to their Shell Cordovan. It contains the Shell portion of the hide, but is processed as Horsebutt due to the smaller overall size. Requiring a full 10 months to produce, including two months submerged in pits, and three to four months of natural drying, the resulting leather exhibits a distinct grain and texture. For our first ever non-Shell preorder, we’ve secured a small allotment of their Oiled Horsebutt, with unique red undertones, and Black Horsebutt. Featuring tonal Eyelets and Speedhooks, a Brogue Toe Cap, and Ridgeway Sole, both colourways of the Service Boot Shinki Horsebutt are available for preorder now exclusively on Viberg.com.
