2030 Last Type

This last features a low profile silhouette and elongated almond-shaped toe. This last accommodates most foot shapes in the standard E width.

For sizing, we recommended one size smaller than your Brannock size. If you have wide feet, take 1/2 size smaller than your Brannock size.

Similar to our Derby shoe, the Rockland Blucher features an open lacing system because the quarters of the shoe overlap the single-piece "one cut" vamp. This subtle difference makes the Blucher less formal and is more versatile than a traditional Oxford.

Col. 8 Boxboard Shell

Horween uses a number system to categorize their red and brown Shell Cordovan - starting at Colour 2, the lightest and most red, to Colour 8, the darkest and most brown. Colour 8 is an instantly recognizeable shade that perfectly balances dark reds and browns, and is one of the most iconic colours Horween offers. This version of Colour 8 Shell features Boxboard print, which is a crosshatched pattern that is a welcome departure from Shell's traditionally smooth and non-porous finish.

Master Craftsmanship

Our first iteration of the Blucher was designed by Edwin Viberg in the late 1960s before the style was archived in the 1980s due to a shift toward the safety footwear market. Recently, the pattern was brought back, and over the span of 2 years, the style was updated and redesigned. The new Rockland Blucher features the channelled insole and counters signature of our 100% natural leather Viberg Chassis.
