Emble Farms

Guy Douglas is a former Wall Street banker who eschewed the frenetic energy of New York & London for the rugged beauty of Northumberland.

A long-time Viberg customer, who, like the Canadian farmers for whom Edwin Viberg created the Service Boot in 1931, Guy spends his days tending cattle, sheep and sustainable crops which include; wheat and barley for biscuits, beer and Scotch. The livestock are prime quality and reared on home-grown produce to sequester as much carbon as possible into the soil.

In this place, the birthplace of the Barbour jacket, workwear is not a fashion statement.
