Our Lasts:

We offer a variety of last shapes which will change how our footwear will look and perform on your feet.

The following is an explanation on the fit and function of each type of last shape and what last numbers are associated with them.

Almond Toe:

This shape refers to a symmetrical elongated toe that resembles an Almond both in profile and aerial views. It creates a sleek contemporary look while still being able to style with denim or trousers.

The Almond Toe is a classic shape that is very forgiving due to the width at the ball being comparable to a round toe last but then tapers to an almond shape in the toe.

The general appearance of an Almond Toe is that it lengthens the foot visually.

Our 2030 / 1905 / 6478 / 2050 are all variations of this classic Almond Shape and are suitable for most people’s feet.

Round Toe:

This shape refers to a non-elongated wider toe that is a half-circle in shape. It is commonly used in boots or country style footwear that require extra toe volume while walking or working.

The Round Toe shape allows for a very generous fit from the ball through to the toe, which makes this last type a great option for anyone with a wider foot or that enjoys its snubbed appearance.

Our 1035 / 110 / 9220 / 240 / 2005 / 1005 / 2005 / 2055 are all variations of this Round Toe Shape and are suitable for most people’s feet.

310 Sprung Toe:

This shape refers to a non-elongated, wider toe that is a half-circle in shape. It is commonly used in boots or country style footwear that require extra toe volume while walking or working.

What separates this last type from the standard round toe is that the actual toe box is raised to allow extra volume for your toes to move. This last shape has also been developed with a generous spring, which allows your feet to roll into each step, reducing fatigue.

The 310 Sprung Toe Last shape allows for a very generous fit from the ball through to the toe, which makes for a great option for anyone with a wider foot or that likes this snubbed appearance.

Anatomical Bump Toe:

This shape refers to a non-elongated wider toe that is a half-circle in shape that follows the natural contour of your feet.  The inner and outer lines of the last are intended to mimic the natural shape of your feet, making it a great option for anyone wanting a supportive fit from the arch through to the toe.

What separates this last shape from the standard round toe is that the actual toe box is raised to allow extra volume for your toes to move.

Our 2040 and 2045 are variations of this Anatomical Bump Toe Shape.

2020 Anatomical Toe

This shape refers to an elongated toe that follows the natural foot, allowing for a flat inside and curved outside that creates a unique orthopedic toe shape.

The Anatomical Toe last is an excellent option for anyone wanting a supportive fit from the arch through to the toe that will reduce foot fatigue.
